Stefan Lewis is the pseudonym of a 39 year old New Zealand author. He is the writer-in-residence at van Asch Deaf Education Centre in Christchurch. Lewis began writing after a career as a freelance film-maker and an African Safari guide. He is an officer in the New Zealand Police Force. Lewis's first novel, The Waikikamukau Conspiracy is being developed into a feature film.
